Crunching of snow was the only sound heart in this dense forest. Dark, musty, freezing climates encircled their territory. Frost, brittling the trees with its either curved claws or perfect needlelike points.
Green-blue eyes peered left, then right. The eyes belonging to Snowmist. She was being watched, she knew it, but by who? It couldnt be a rival Clan member, no, not this deep into territory.
Snowmists gaze drifted upward, seeing a male pefched in one of the brittle dead trees. The warrior relaxed as she recognized the mans face and distinct overall appearance. It was of course, Nightshade.
"Hello."She Came her voice, a friendly smile making its way into her formerly stony expression.

Nightshade staid where he was and stared into the turquoise colored eyes of Snowmist. He barely knew anything about her. Only that she was from Frostclan and she was a warrior and that's probably it. Pathetic. Not her, but him. He barely talks. He had socializing problems. Very unhealthy. He tries, but it just doesn't work out for him. He will speak if he has to, but he will try this time.
"Hello, Snowmist." He replied back.

It was empty in this part of the territory, apart from the two of them. No one came around here. "What are you doing around here?" She asked in a non-rude way, shifting from foot to foot in the powdery white snow. Her feet freezing cold.
Why she had not worn shoes out here was a mystery, she never was a fan of shoes. Ahh, i appear to beginning to stray from the topic. Snowmist examined the male warrior before, she'd seen him around camp before but she never really talked to him. And him?
He never really talked to anyone.

Nightshade didn't really know why he was here. He would just wander off in the territory, just exploring. He would usually go and explore the territory when he had free time. "Just exploring." He said. He felt the cold breeze hit his skin. He shivered a little and hugged himself, trying to keep him a little warm. He looked down at the ground and then back at her. "And you?" He asked the pretty female.

Her hair buffetted against her face in the wind and she shivered, looking up at him. "Just enjoying the scenery, or at least trying to. Its really cold. I also came out here to think."
She didnt much like being in the camp. All of the drama, the usual routines, it just made her want to get away. Especially around this time of year. The camp was suffocating and freezing.

Nightshade nodded his head. He didn't really like the drama in camp either. It's very... frustrating. He doesn't really have that much drama in his life since he doesn't communicate that much. But he liked having no drama in his life. He pressed his hands against his warm neck, making them more warmer. He didn't really know what to say to her now. An awkward silence came. He tapped the white ground with his foot, not knowing what to do. "So...." He said.

She decided that she would try to make the situation less awkward. "So, since I dont know you too well, and were both here..Would you like to do some border checks?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and looking up at him. A definite height difference between them.
FeatherClan had been suspicious lately, very suspicious, she had found a few rabbit skeletons on FrostClans side of the border and she had been meaning to check it out.

A smile appeared on Nightshade's face. The awkwardness disappeared, finally. "Sure, that would be cool." He said. He began to walk towards the Featherclan border. He noticed the suspiciouse things that were happening near the Featherclan border too. Very strange. He looked back to see if she was following.

Bounding up to him, the white powder crunching beneath her in quick beats as she trotted over. The young warrior met him by his side, looking around as they went. "Its beautiful out today." She commented, looking around.
They were now approaching the Clan border, more skeletons than before littering the snow. The skeletons has tiny strings of meat on them still. Fresh meat, from the smells of it. She furrowed her blonde eyebrows, scanning their surroundings. The other corpses,
Belonged to their Clans own prey.
Was FeatherClan getting this desperate for food? Or did they simply want to fight? Perhaps both, the skeletons were obvious. A sign to mock FrostClan.

Nightshade nodded to her comment. When they reached there, he observed the skeltons. He nealed down and stared at them quietly. What the heck? Why are these here? He stood back up and looked at the other warrior. "Strange, isn't it?" He asked the female.

The young woman nodded her head, picking up one of the skulls and examining it before tossing it back to the ground. Suddenly, she heard a sound. The crunching of anothers feet on snow. It was not coming from behind them in the direction of the camp, but in front of them in the direction of FeatherClans territory.
The sound of their feet grew faster, the person was now sprinting. It must have been someone giving chase. Then, multiple sets of feet.
Suddenly, from over the snowy hill, she saw white rabbits dart over toward him and her. Then, three FeatherClan warriors chasing them. The rabbits ran over the border, and the FeatherClan warriors were still giving chase.
It was time to catch them red handed.

Nightshade watched the rabbits hop away and saw three Featherclan warriors. His eyebrows narrowed and watched them come closer and closer. Could they even see them two or where consentrating to much on the little bunnys. Or maybe they're blind. Or just plain old'stupid. He watch them come closer and closer. "What do you think your doing?" He asked them.

The warriors halted, a guilty look washing over their faces. "Uhh...hunting?"Said The leader of the hunting patrol answered in the form of a question.
She narrowed her eyes at the warriors, glaring hard. "Youre on our side of the border,"She She said sternly and low, however her voice was level. "Again."

Nightshade nodded his head. "You don't belong here." He said. His eyes were burning with anger. He looked at Snowmist wondering what to do to them. They could either take them back to camp, fight them, or just let them out with a warning.

Outrage was her current emotion. How dare they? FrostClan has never done something to anger FeatherClan. Who knows though, maybe it wasnt the Clan acting as a whole, perhaps it was just this group of young warriors? Regardless, this could not go withoout action.
"Beat it." She ordered simply and firmly, giving them a stare of hatred and warning.
However, that just wasnt going to fly with these warriors. They stepped closer, all smirking.
A male among them spoke up. "And why should we? Its three against one." He said with a laugh. "We aint leaving without a fight." His smirk grew wider.
"We didnt come here to fight." Her tone was level, but still firm.
Then one of the girls stepped forward, laughing in a mocking tone at Snowmist. "I always knew FrostClan had gone soft."She taunted with a laugh. Then, she punched Snowmist in the face.
Hard. [/color]
