The dare shocked Winter, and she glanced at Blazepaw's sister. "Y-Yeah. That's not such a good idea." But, it was a dare. She had to play fair otherwise it's not really a game of truth or dare. What was she going to do!? Winter had a crush on someone else, and it just wasn't Blazepaw. But, even if I like someone, it doesn't mean that someone likes me back. S-So, it's okay for me to kiss him, right? I mean, it's just a dare. She sighed and said, "Okay. If it's a kiss you want, then a kiss you will get." Winter wrapped her arms around Blazepaw's neck and leaned in to kiss him. |

Nightshade came into the apprentices den, just you know, checking on his apprentice, I guess. And then oh look apprentices kissing, how wonderful, oh and look it's Winter. He leaned on the den wall spying quietly. He would just let it flow... for now.

Maple stood up, figuring things could get a little too uncomfortable for her. She started walking towards the entrance and let out a small whimper as she jumped and saw Nightshade peeking into the den. "H-hello." She said quietly as she walked over.

Nightshade waved to Maplepaw. "Hello, Maplepaw, right?" He asked backing up a little so she could come out. "So, where you going?" He asked the apprentice. It seemed like she was in a rush to somewhere.

Maplepaw nodded when he asked if that was her name. She walked out and turned to him. "I um... I was just gong out for some fresh air. Those two are playing truth or dare and it kinda got a little awkward for me." She said smiling and blushing slightly. "What are you doing spying on them?" She asked.

Nightshade laughed a little. "Hm, maybe. I was just checking up and then you know what happened." He said with a small chuckle. "Aren't you guys to young for all that stuff or am I wrong?" He asked smiling at the apprentice.

The girl stooped mid-way when she heard Maplepaw talking to someone. The other person's voice was very familiar. Her eyes widened when realized who it was the apprentice was talking to. It was Nightshade! Winter jumped and rushed over to Maplepaw and Nightshade. "H-Hi, Nightshade! Um... We were just playing truth or dare. I-I didn't dare him to kiss me.. He dared me to kiss him. You understand, right? You have to do the dare otherwise you're not really playing a game of truth or dare." Winter laughed nervously and sighed. I'm sure Nightshade will never let me forget this moment for the rest of my life. |

Nightshade laughed at Winter. Why was she all nervous anyway? Weird. "Um, I guess I understand." He said. He slipped his hands in his pockets and pressed his lips together. He felt that awkward silence about to come. He looked at Winter, then Maplw, and then at the ground.

"Oh, forget it... I'm just going to go hide." Winter stormed back into the den and sat down in the far back corner to the right. She pulled her knees to her chest and sat there in the darkness. Her blue eyes sparkled as she watched Maplepaw and Nightshade. Stupid Nightshade.... He's so clueless. She sighed and believed she was never going to get out of the friend zone with Nightshade. He probably had his eyes on Snowmist. Winter couldn't blame him since Snowmist was a billion times better than her. |

Nightshade sighed as he saw her run away inside the den. He padded inside of the den and walked towards her. He crouched down by her. "Come on, Winter, what's wrong?" He asked her. Did she really like him? It kinda seemed like it. He just wanted to stay friends for awhile. Take it slow. Yah, he had to admit, he did like her, but not love. He looked into her eyes with worry.

Winter wanted to take it slow too, but she couldn't help it. There was this feeling inside her that kept on telling her that she had a crush on Nightshade. It's not like she wanted to like him in the first place. It just wasn't like her to like someone in that way so easily. It scared her when she started feeling that way. She didn't want to become one of those love crazy girls. "It's nothing. I just didn't want to share my first kiss with that guy. I can't help it..." she paused and began to cry. "There's this guy I don't want to like in a love kind of way, because I want to get to know him first. But, part of me just won't let it go. That part of me wants to tell him how I feel, but this part of me doesn't want to like him in that way. I'm just scared I'll turn into one of those love crazy girls. I'm nothing like them... There has to be something wrong with me. I like him, but I also don't want to have feelings for him, because I just want to be friends. I'm hurting myself either way by not telling him and telling him. I just don't know what to do anymore." She gasped for air after that long speech, and she just continued to cry. She couldn't blame Nightshade for thinking she's crazy that part of her likes the guy and the other doesn't want to be involved with him in that kind of way. Oi... Winter really needed some help and not from the guy she's trying to get over, but part of her wants to keep on liking him in that way. |

Nightshade listened to her quietly. Drama. Blah. Just what he needed. He placed his arm on her shoulder. "Don't worry about it, just believe in what your heart tells you. Follow your heart." He said placing her hand to her heart. He stood up and looked down at her. "I'll leave you here to think about it for awhile, if you want, but remember that I'll always be here for you." He said smiling.
