[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw laughed and nodded, picking up his bow. He crouched down, spreading his feet to about 1 arm length apart. He squatted down, one hand firmly gripping his bow, the other hand extended out to balance himself. He raised his heels up, standing on the flats of his toes.

"Is this correct?" he asked her, squinting his eyes to concentrate.

[Snowfall]

" .. That's perfect. " she said, her eyebrows raised in astonishment.
She got down on one knee and placed one on his elbow, making sure his arm was straight.
She got an arrow and aligned it onto the wire, then instructing him.
" Now, pull back the arrow along with the wire until the arrow end is beside your eye. Then release. " she said softly, her arms still holding his in place.
" That way, it will hit whatever you are looking at. "

Darkpaw nodded, burning with embrassment with Snowfall being so close to him. He lifted the bow and put an arrow in the notch of the bow and placed it against the string, pulling back. He gritted his teeth and kept pulling until it was near his eye. His stomach muscles clenched up and he released, sighing from relief as the pressure was released from his hand. The arrow flew and hit a tree. The force wasn't strong enough for it to stab through it, so it just bounced off the trunk. Sighing, Darkpaw took out another arrow.

[Snowfall]

" It's okay. I didn't get through the bark 'till my tenth try. " she laughed in embarrassment.
" But, trees are tough. You should try a live target. " she said, pointing to small brown body rustling through the undergrowth.
" Squirrel, " she whispered, " Try to get it. " she said with a smirk, turning her head to him.
" If you get it, i'll let you eat it. I won't tell anyone ~ "

Darkpaw lauhed softly and nodded, turning towards the squirrel. He pulled back the wire on his bow, breathing in slowly. The male waited until the squirrel sat on it's fat butt. He crouched down, eyeing the juicy squirrel with food lust. He let go of the wire, letting the arrow fly. It hit the squirrel, but it wasn't a killing blow. It stabbed throw it's tail, casuing it to bark out in pain. Darkpaw flnched at it's barking and he lightly ran over to it, taking another arrow. He drew it across it's throat, killing it.

"That was rather messy," he murmered.

[Yes, squirrels bark. Don't ask.]

" Yes, Messy, But you got it. Congratz. " she chuckled, walking over and patting him on the head.
" It's all yours now. " she said, winking and ddrawing out her dagger, handing it to him.
" You can use this. I have flint if you want to start a fire for it. " she added, her fingers fidgeting with her hair until it was undone from it's tied-up ponytail, letting it spread across her shoulders.
" I'll be sure to brag about my apprentice ~ "

"Thanks," he replied and took the dagger. he picked up the squirrel and began to skin it, not even cringing at the smell. He looked at Snowfall, blinking.

"May I have the flint? Also, do you want to share?" he offered to share it with Snowfall as she undid her hair, letting it fall and bounce against her shoulders. He held his breathe, staring at her for a mere second. It was normal for a boy to look at a hot woman, but this was a different kind of stare. It was a seductive stare. Darkpaw didn't know that he was even giving her the Seductive Look.

[ Dark-A-Chu, Use Seductive Stare ! ]

She took out the flint from her pocket, the charcoal colored dust staining the tips of her fingers as she passed them over. Her face was slightly flushed at the look he was giving her, as it was somewhat intriguing. He was a charming boy, yet, he was her apprentice.

" No, i'm alright. It's your kill. All yours ~ ! " she said with a smile, sitting cross-legged on the ground, her arms back to prop herself up.

[Daaarrkkaaa...chuuuuuuuuu!!!!!! -cheesy blue lightning bolts slowly come out of eyes-]

Darkpaw snapped out of his look and took the flint. He took a rock and a few sticks, and some dry leaves. He scratched the flint against the rock relentlessly, making a small spark. The spark fell onto the stick and leaves and a tiny fire started. Darkpaw gripped the flint and rock as he raised his hands up in the air.

"It's good," he laughed and gave the flint back to Snowfall, sticking another stick through the squirrel and stuck it over the fire so it can roast. The smell of burning meat wafted up to Darkpaw's nose and his mouth began to water with hunger.

She took the flint with a curt nod, placing it back in her pocket.
" So, after this we can either Hunt, Take you back, Go fishing, Go for a walk, Aaanything. Today is basically a Free-day. A 'Mentor-Apprentice Day', if you will. " she said, looking over at the bluish-gray haired boy.

[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw took a bite of the squirrel after it was done, savoring the delicious juices. He looked at Snowfall and shrugged.

"Take a walk, I guess," he told her before taking another bite, filling his empty stomach. The male looked back up at his mentor, cocking his head to the side.

"Are you sure you don't want a piece?" he asked her, tearing off a slice of meat and offered it to her.

[Snowfall]

" I'm positive. " she assured, nodding lightly.

" A walk ? Alright. " she said, standing and stretching her backas she gathered her hair and laid it over one shoulder. Her eyes looked around at the light sprinkle of frost on everything; the plants, the trees, it was surely consoling due to her favor of snow.
" We can leave our weapons here for the walk, or.. Hm. I dunno. " She murmured, feeling as if she had no control of her words for the moment.
" There's a part of the forest we could go to. Good climbing trees. "

"Alright, let's go. I'm ready," Darkpaw stood up and kicked dirt and snow over the fire, killing the flames. He picked up the squirrel skin, wondering if he should just keep it there. It was useless because the skin was so small. Also, when it would dry in the weak sun, it would shrink.

"So, where are these trees?"

[Snowfall]

" East, So.. This way. " she said, tugging his arm before letting go and walking in the direction, her arms folded.

" I used to climb them with my friends. " she said, a nostalgic smile on her face.
" C'mon. They aren't too far. "

The trees were very tall, yet most had a low branch to where you could get up easily.
She turned back to make sure he saw what she saw, all the pretty, wide, trees.
She smiled and approached one, setting her foot on the branch and getting up on it, looking back at him again.

Darkpaw trailed after Snowfall, his breathe taken away by the sight of the trees. He whispered to himself and followed Snowfall. He jumped up and gripped a branch, pulling himself up on it. He stood up on the thin branch, in the Hunter's Crouch. He looked over at Snowfall and flashed her a cocky smile before laughing and jumping up to anotehr branch. He stopped at the second branch and sat there, swinging his legs as he waited for his mentor.
