[Darkpaw]

"I'm fine, I'm fine," he told her, batting her hands away. She cupped his face and he blushed, coughing to shake it off. The teen nearly growled as Snowfall kept fussing over him. She was being overly protective and he was getting tired of it. Darkpaw began to sat up and his lifted his head up, one of his hands massaging his nck as he brushed noses with Snowfall.

"I tell I-..." Darkpaw was lost as his nose brushed hers, his mouth slightly gaping open.

[Snowfall]

" I'm sorry, I just really don't want you to be in.. "
Their words drifted off at the same time, her wide blue eyes staring into his as her hands were balled up on his chest.
Oh, boy. Now wasn't this awkward..
" .. Pain. " she concluded her sentence, her mind asking herself what to do frantically.
Do I lean in ? Back away ? WhatdoIdo, WhatdoIdo ..

Darkpaw held Snowfall, glancing every once in a while at her lips. Should he kiss her? But what about Foxpaw? She won't know. But Snowfall is older than him! That doesn't matter. He didn't even like her! So? She was sexy and was charming, what more could you ask for? Darkpaw finlly made a decision. He slowly leaned in, gulping. If Snowfall pulled away, Darkpaw would be so embarassed. Nah, he could say that he was dizzy.

"Snowfall," he whispered her name gently as he gazed up at her.

She'd decided she'd lean in, and her head tilted slightly.
" Yes, Darkpaw ? " she murmured, her eyes leveled with his.
Snowfall felt his warm breath escape from his mouth, and could barely hold back any longer.
" What is it ? " she asked in a soft whisper, the feel of him holding her so familiar. All of this was like Deja Vu..

DArkpaw leaned in, now his lips were brushing up against Snowfall's. The excitment, oh glob! He kept brushing his lips against his mentor's soft lips, nearly shuddering. Foxpaw was out of his mind now, and instead Snowfall blocked the way.

"Should I?" he asked her gently, blinkin bashfully.

[Snowfall]

Snowfall's eyes softened at the question, and, we can just say her answer wasn't by words. Her lips were on his in a heartbeat, even though when she kissed him her heart probably stopped.
Her eyes were closed now, most likely unable to take in the excitement and the flattering feeling of his ' certain stare ' at the same time.

Darkpaw moaned as Snowfall kissed him and he kissed her back, his hands running up her back. He breathed in, pulling away slightly. To tease her, Darkpaw lightly bit Snowfall's lower lip, and he let it go, rekissing her. Man, he was enjoying this. Darkpaw's hand slipped down to Snowfall's arch in her back, softly skipping over her rump. He laid his hand on her thigh and pulled it up to his side. Darkpaw did the same thing to the other leg. he wondered if he leaned back, would she follow him?

Snowfall felt like this was all wrong.
Yet, for a bit the only thing that was wrong was that she felt it was so right.
Her legs shifted under his control, as if marionette limbs.
Lip being gnawed on, she emitted a light noise and gribbed onto the cloth dressing his torso.
Snowfall felt there was some sort of a plan when he moved her, something she didn't know about yet he did. And her being the mentor in the situation, she was plentiful curious.

( CURIOUSITY KILLED THE CAT, SNOW. )

Darkpaw began to fall down, but he stoppd himself. Pulling away slowly, his eyes fluttered open. He pushed Snowfall off of him, coughing. His hands flew up to the sides of his head and he gripped it, muttering dark words.

"What have done? Damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!" he muttered the curses over and over, growling to himself. Darkpaw stood up an looked at Snowfall, sympathy flooding into his eyes. Walking towards her, he stretched out a hand to help her up.

"I'm so sorry Snowfall," he blinked.

Snowfall fell back with a grunt, and she satback up, listening to his repeating of the profanity.
Her hand rested on his and she staggered upward onto her feet.
" No, it's alright, " she said, " I'm sorry for kissing you-- I couldn't help it ... " she muttered, biting the inside of her cheek in embarrassment.

"I know, and I lead you on," he spat and kicked at the ground. Darkpaw ran his hand through his blueish gray hair, rubbing some of the dye out. He turned and looked around, his eyes frantically searching the woods.

"The problem is....I liked it."

[Snowfall]

" Excuse me for being oblivious, but, "
Her hands were rested on her knees, and she stared down at the ground. She was kneeling, rested on her shins.
" how is that a problem ? " she continued with a question.
" I may be looking over something as many young adults do, but ... "

"Because I like Foxpaw! Beisdes, you're my mentor and it's a little disgusting to be kissing your mentor," he explained to her. Boy, the warriors weren't very smart, now were they? Darkpaw shook his head and grumbled, blinking lightly.

[Snowfall]

" Oh, right. I forgot that. " she said, laughing lightly to try to mask her utter embarrassment.
" Well, sorry, then. Wow.. This really makes me feel old. " she muttered, looking at her hands to make sure they were still sleek and young-looking to assure herself of her youth.
The was a short silence as she turned away, twirling her hair around her finger awkwardly.
She always did this. Always made these horrible mistakes.

Snowfall turned back to him, inhaling and exhaling deeply.
" I guess i'll be going back then. " she announced, holding her breath as she did.
Awful, awful mistakes.

Darkpaw let a sigh escape his lips. He wanted to cradle her and comofrt Snowfall. But he couldn't and he forced himself to stay where he was. Darkpaw twitched and sighed once again, rolling his shoulders in frustration.

"Yeah, I think that might be best," he murmered to her, narrowing his eyes. He turned around and stalked off.
