[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw sighed and laughed, shaking his head. Standing up, the male edged out onto the ice, wobbly at first. He put another foot in front him, pushing him forward. He slipped on the ice, landing on his rump. Darkpaw struggled to get up, shaking as he tried to balance himself.

"Damn ice," he laughed to himself, blinking away the slight numb pain.

[Foxpaw]

Foxpaw giggled, skating back over to him and grabbing his arm gently to help him stand. "Be careful! Dont want you falling in." She teased with another smile. "Here, you go like this." She said, slowly sliding forward in almost sweeping motions to demonstrate to him. Lightly pulling him along with her as she did this so he could observe her movements and mimick them. Not pulling him enough to make him lose balance once more though.

[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw's cheeks went a light pink from embrassment of falling. He watched Foxpaw skate around the ice and he looked at her entire body, seeing the grace and beauty of the creature before him. He felt his cheeks grow even redder at the thought. He wished that she would get closer to him so he could grab her other hand.

It would be nice to skate around the river with her, Foxpaw in Darkpaw's arms, the wind gently blowing-ugh, what was he thinking? That was mushy. And disgusting. But Darkpaw still wanted to try it.

[Foxpaw]

As if on cue to his thought, the pale apprentice had moved slightly closer to him, seeing he was catching on to the technique. A deep blush forming on her normally nearly ghost white cheeks as she realized their closeness. Choosing not to say anything however, being as that would quite well ruin it, she continued to skate with him. The soft grading shuffle of theor feet against the gritty ice audiable in the silent forest.

[Darkpaw]

DArkpaw saw Foxpaw pull herself closer, so Darkpaw did the same. She was now in arm's reach and he leaned over, his hand gently placed itself on her waist. He attempted to pull Foxpaw closer to him, hoping that she would slide over to him until their chests touched. Wow, Darkpaw didn't think that he would be romantic. Jeez, it was riduculous. But, the male didn't care, for, his heart was pumping and his eyes were glazed.

[Foxpaw]

She slid closer to him, all of the movements perfectly falling into place. She felt her chest touch his, her heart thumping quick like a war drum. They were so close, the warm exhales they gave of breath intertwined visibly in the frosty winter air. She licked her electric teal gaze with his deep blue, not saying a word. Mostly, because none needed to be said. Her hands were placed on his shoulders, a slight shiver going down her back from his hand on her waist.

[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw put his forehead against Foxpaw's, his gaze sucked into Foxpaw's teal gaze. He was breathless and tried to think of something. Darkpaw looked down at her lips, blinking at the sight of the soft lips that would release the most amazing words. Ugh-no, wasn't it too early for him to kiss her? It would be his first kiss and it would be awkward for him at least. But, the moment was just too perfect. The air kept egging him on, the wind whispered "Do it," and they were just so close together. Darkpaw found himself slightly leaning in. His heart jumped to his throat as he gazed softly at her, his hands traveling to Foxpaw's back.

[Foxpaw]

Foxpaw gazed into his eyed deeply, heart racing, shivers passing through her from anticipation and the cold. Their lips were hardly a centimeter apart and she moved her hands up so she could wrap her arms around his neck. The suspense was killing her, she pulled herself even closer to him, absolutely no space between the two. Suddenly, it felt like it was only the two of them in the world, and there was only warmth around them.

[Darkpaw]

The male wanted to run away with Foxpaw, forever together. This was it, the final moment. Hopefully, Foxpaw would let him kiss her, let him take her with him as Darkpaw began to dance off into the clouds with feet as light as air.

He leaned forward, slightly pursing his lips. He had seen other warriors kiss, so that kinda helped. Darkpaw closed his eyes, his heart jumping with every beat. Here he goes, going in for the kill.

[Foxpaw]

Foxpaw lightly pursed her lips as well, eyes half lidded. In the back of her mknd, she was thinking Come on Darkpaw, get on with it! She said nothing though, meerly waiting for him patiently.

[Darkpaw]

[You shoould buuuurrrn as punishment. Lolno, it's fine.]

Darkpaw was there. He pressed his lips against Foxpaw's, feeling her purse hers. His hands traveled up Foxpaw's back, then they went back down. He felt the curve of her back, and felt the begining of her rump. Darkpaw quickly jerked his hands away from it, finally keeping his hands in the curve of her spine. He was still kissing the girl and he pulled away slowly, not realizing that they still were sliding on the river ice.

"Uh...oh, wow," he finally spoke after a few moments.

[Foxpaw]

She softly brushed her lips against his in return, ans blinking her eyes open when he pulled away. A light smile forming on her lips, a blush on her cheeks. "Yeah...Wow." She murmured softly, resting her forehead against his. "Should we head back?" She asked him lightly, letting her hand fill his and then entwining their fingers.

[Darkpaw]

Darkpaw laughed nervously. He felt Foxpaw's hand in his and her forehead against his. He shrugged, lifting his head to kiss her forehead.

"It's your decision, really," he whispered to her, putting his lips next to her ear. Then he tore open her neck. Darkpaw laid his chin on her shoulder, resting it there.

[Foxpaw]

She smiled gently to him, shutting her eyes and relaxing into his embrace. She lightly ran her fingertips over his shoulder. "I dont want to go back," She whispered back to him softly and breathily. "Not yet." She murmured, lightly pressing against him. Pressing her lips lightly to his cheek.

[Darkpaw]

"A-alright," he stuttered. Darkpaw looked over at the edge of the river on the side of Ashclan and he glanced back at Foxpaw.

"We can go back onto the edge of our territory. We could just lay there and relax...if you know what I mean if you want to," he murmered to her, feeling her kiss his cheek.
