Troutpaw smiled as he sat in the cave, almost no one was around. What a nice day. The sun was shining and every other apprentice was out training. Not Troutpaw. He stayed, alone, with no one around. Since he hadn't started training, he had nowhere to go. But suddenly, other humans started to come in again. Still grinning, he walked up to one of them and greeted with glimmering blue eyes, "Hey." (lazy)

The blonde-haired girl was sitting in a corner all by herself with her knees pulled to her chest. Winter preferred to hide in the shadows, for she was not very sociable. No one bothered to get to know the mysterious girl. They just made her feel invisible, and she liked it that way. She always had her head in the clouds, so maybe that's why she doesn't have any friends. Her spirit truly lies within the forest. It was her happy place. Winter was hoping the den would clear out, so she could make a run for the forest. The male apprentice made her feel uncomfortable, and she knew he was going to say something to her. She remained silent and prayed that the male wouldn't notice her like everyone else.

He didn't like that the girl had no friends, that she was alone. He was going to change that. Maybe they should go for a walk? He liked the territory way better than he liked the camp. Leaving the other apprentice he was talking to, Troutpaw slowly made his way towards Winterpaw. Awkwardly, with a cute, dopey smile, he greeted the pretty female, "Uh...hey." He extended his hand and introduced, "I'm Troutpaw. And you are?"

Yeah. A girl with no friends was sort of a turn off for guys. A walk was a great idea! But, that's if Winter was alone. Her ocean blue gaze landed on the male that walked up to her and introduced himself. She found his dopey smile to be quite insulting. It was as if he expected her to fall for him like most girls would. Winter wasn't that interested in love, for she doubted she would ever find that special someone. She was better off without a lover. She opened her mouth but nothing came out. Winter was ashamed of herself for not saying a word to the nice apprentice. She opened her mouth again and said, "I'm... Winterpaw."

Troutpaw didn't expect her to do anything she didn't want to do. Grunting, he wiped his smile off and replied, "Nice to meet you." He sat across from her. (lazy again)

"Sorry... I'm just not that sociable." Well, since he's clearly not leaving my side... "Do you want to go on a walk with me?" It's better than sitting around in an awkward silence. Winter rose up to her feet hesitantly and held her hand out to Troutpaw. It was worth a shot. She was very nervous, because it was her first time asking someone to do something with her. But, it would break the silence, and she wanted to get out of the camp. Winter didn't get the chance to take her morning walk through the forest, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad to go on a walk with someone. It was new and different.

Troutpaw grinned and stood up, taking his hand. "Sure, that sounds great," he told her, waiting to walk with her. (really really lazy)

A faint smile appeared on Winter's face and she nodded. "Okay!" She let go of his hand once he was already up on both of his feet and ready to go. Winter began to walk towards the entrance, and she looked back to see if Troutpaw was following her. Troutpaw... He could be my first friend... It sounded weird for her to say that in her mind, but she knew it would sound even weirder if she said it out loud. It's the same thing with walking with someone. It was new and different, and Winter was beginning to like it.

Troutpaw chuckled and sprinted after her. "Hey, wait up!" he laugh-called after his new friend, blue eyes shining happily as he sprinted. "Wait up!" he repeated loudly, smirking as he ran after her. He was getting closer now, and reached out his hands to grab at her.

Winter raced through the territory, running as fast as she could. She would glance back every once in a while to see how close Troutpaw was to getting her. She smiled brightly and laughed as she continued to run away from her new friend. "You can't catch me~ You can't catch me~" she chanted childishly.

Smirking, Troutpaw put in all his might and ran as fast as he could, trying to make one last grab at the hem of her shirt. "I almost got you!" he cried out with a laugh, getting ready to grab her.

Winter laughed and gave Troutpaw her famous pouty face when he finally caught her. "Aha! You got me." she laughed and put her hands up in the air, showing him that she surrendered. If only she had a little white flag to wave. It would be cuter if she had a white flag to wave, telling him that she surrendered.
