He fiddled with a small leaf, an activity that he had become accustomed to in the short days. The sun was still high but it wouldn't be long before it disappeared below the horizon of dark trees. Spidermask split the small brown leaf in half, his arms were decorated with shredded pieces of moss, grass, and leaves, but that was normal too. His hair was ruffled as if he'd just gotten out of bed but he was just too tired to fix it. Truth was, Spidermask was just trying to pass time. He was thinking about what he wanted to be. He was a young warrior with a good life ahead of him. He loved his clan loyally and was just as brave as the next guy or gal. but, he wanted more. To serve as a warrior just didn't seem like a good job. He'd heard the deputy position was open was considering taking up that position, but then again, maybe if the healer was still open he could retire as a warrior and work as a healer instead. Either way, he just wanted to something spectacular. Not sit alone, shredding his bedding. The soft foot steps of another warrior didn't deter him either. He'd just have to work harder....

Darksoul slipped into camp, her icy blue eyes looking from side to side. Many people had gathered in groups to eat a meal before the departed for the night to rest. Darksoul wished to be a shadow and just make it to the warriors den where she then would hide in the back for a small nap. This night could be to cold for her to sleep out in the forest like she normally did each night. With light feet she made her way around camp be silent as possible not to catch the eyes on anyone. Darksoul lacked every skill that existed when socializing. Her past was to much of a scare, she was just a child when it camp to relationships. She had no friends, no family, nothing. Darksoul found her life to be lonely, but what other choose did she have. She could not change the past and the scars that had been placed upon her would never go away.
Darksoul released a sigh of relief when she was able to stand at the warrior den entrance with no trouble. The girl smiled and slipped into the den silently. To her surprise a warrior was already in the den ready for sleep. Darksoul wanted to go back outside and return to the forest were everything would be silent and lonely, but she could do no such thing now. Looking back through the entrance she noticed groups were starting to break and head to different dens. Darksoul pressed her teeth together and started for her bed that was in the far back corner of the den. "Just don't so anything to get his attention and you will be just fine," Darksoul told herself in her head as she made her way to her bed.

He didn't dare look up, when the warrior walked in it felt as if he'd just been slapped in the face. The sad emotions were practically jumping off this girl. But they were as sad, more of a torturous kind of feeling. Spider mask buried his face into his work, which was nothing. But he didn't dare say anything. He got the vibe that this gal didn't want to be socialized with, and he respected that. But then again, he didn't want to be alone. So, he gave a wave of acknowledgement that said, 'Hey, glad to see you came in,' or something along those lines.
Spidermask stole a glance and recognized Darksoul, and that wasn't her name for nothing. She was very pretty, he would deny her of that. But she always looked so reluctant, always unhappy to be here. So why did she stay? Was it just a need? To actually help out another clanmate? Or rather she had another motive like himself? Either way, she was an odd thing. Spider smiled faintly, shaking his head and ignoring his mind's impulsive desire to go in for an introduction.
